Seismic Interpretation
Our interpreters have geological interpretative backgrounds and have worked on many exploration, appraisal and production projects in basins across the globe. What SIP additionally provide is rare.
Our interpreters are also processors and rock physics specialists. This combination of skills is truly invaluable in understanding the full seismic signal response and interpreting it in a meaningful geological way.
A typical "interpretation" project may start with rock physics analysis of some wells, then move on to inversion (pre- or post-stack), and finally a comprehensive interpretation of the inversion attributes to de-risk the prospect.
Recent projects involving a combination of seismic processing, rock physics, inversion, and interpretation include North Sea Paleocene and Jurassic (both in the UK and Norway), West of Shetlands Palaeocene, North and West Africa, Eastern Mediterranean and Kazakhstan.
